Hi guys I'm curing my first harvest now, and past 10 days of curing I fell like the weed is losing smell and flavour, wen I jarred the buds the Rh inside the jars was 57/58%, now is 54/55% it's over dried?I read that I can put a orange or lemon Pell inside to bring up the Rh .

Don't use food products to control RH. Just going to introduce bacteria to the jars or get citric acid on your buds, which won't help, either. Buy Boveda 58 or 62% 2-way RH packs. Do not buy integra boost packs - they suck big fat dicks. An 8-gram size is fine for a quart mason jar. Double up and they last longer. You can re-hydrate them simply by putting in a humid environment above their listed RH level. You don't want them as heavy as possible because you want 2-way control. Once saturated it can't absorb more humidity. Weighing them can suss out 'max' weight. LEave out in a dry area to reduce if needed. If you smoke your week within a month or 2 of harvest, probably not a big deal. You can slow the loss of your stash by having a 'smoke jar' that you open up constantly, but store the bulk of your weed in a container that remains closed after cure except to refill the smoke jar. If you feel it dries out too much, get some 2-way humidity control packs. What you smell is what has already been lost from the plant, so when it gives off less of a smell while also in proper conditions, it's losing the smell slower and that is a good thing. It's not necessarily over-dried but it's trending in that direction. Lots of people like 55% RH for storage. A consistent environment keeps the buds at a consistent moisture level, which reduces degredation and avoids harsher smoke. So, if you buy an appropriately sized Boveda pack, it'll maintain that sealed RH for a long time without worry.

invest in some small hygrometers to put in your jar. i like to put them in when its around 60-65 and leave the lid off and just keep the container with the buds somewhere between 60 and 65. when it goes up, open the jar until it goes down. ive gotten better smell this way than i have by drying until the branches snap. thats almost over dry. i also have never gotten the 14 day dry. i just hang until theyre ready. i listen to the buds more so than what the internet says and ive had better results. get the small hygrometers and you can monitor it best.

Anything moist will bring the wet back.when I go to dry I find a branch from probs same plant doesn't matter as long as it has damp init place in bag or box with bud over night and boom it's taken some moisture back into the buds. U think this is what your asking. Happy farming

Let time work its magic, it is normal for the smell intensity to fade out, it will be back in time, normally a few weeks. You should raise the RH to around 5862%, why dont you try boveda packs or something similar? If you dont have access, you can just spray a *little bit* of distilled water on the jar lid (not on the flowers)
