m0useanswered grow question 18 hours ago are we talking autos or photos??
Autos will finish when they want to despite the light cycle.
Photos will finish when they are mature and have at least 11hrs darkness.
Breeders suggestions on time of harvest are exactly that. A suggestion, it could be outside the range, earlier or later. This is more evident on photoperiods as you can veg them indefinitely if you keep em nice and healthy. Gets a bit weird when its auto vs photos as some companies will say how long you should expect for autos as their whole life. veg+bloom and photoperiods are normally stated as just its Bloom period as veg is flexible. eg autos 12-16weeks vs photos 8-10weeks
So if this is an auto, its fine, your 12/12 should be ok. and may finish when its 20 weeks.
If this is a photo its going to start to enter bloom now if its mature. If its the plant in the photo it looks to already be in bloom so guessing its an auto.
One note on light. DLI, amount of light in a day, Cannabis likes a DLI of around 35-40. You can have the same DLI from 12/12 and 18/6 if the light increase its intensity when switching to 12/12. Eg. my lights give me a DLI of 37 on 16on/18off for veg and on 11on/12off for bloom. it not the traditional 18/6 vs 12/12 as my lights a bit overpowered for the tent. If you light has any PPFD maps for your size of tent you can calculate a ruff ballpark of DLI off them numbers. You plant will also tell you how much it needs. Stretching to much, more light, not stretching enough and bulky internode spaceing, less light.
