Hi, my 1st grow, critical and deimos both autos, both topped before 21 days and above 3rd node, both start week 7 in 2 days time. Do they look on track to flower still? both have pistils. Should i leave them or try to trigger floweing? If so how. Thanks for reading.

As mentioned by the previous poster, autoflower plants do not respond to a change in light cycle. Most people run autos at 18 hrs light, although its not unheard of for some people to run 20 or even 24hrs straight through. I'm not sure there's a real benefit to running your lights around the clock ... my belief is your plants need some down time. I do have a question for you though ... Why did you top your autos? Most people don't top autoflowers, period! You lose yield since there's no time to replace the cut vegetation like you can with a photoperiod plant where you can change the light cycle according to your personal game plan. I run an 80" tall tent. I've only had a few autos in there because I much prefer to grow photoperiods ... and I have never ever had an auto outgrow my tent! They don't usually get very tall. Personally, I don't even top photoperiod plants. I use lst and super-cropping techniques to keep my plants inside their space. Now, there's nothing wrong with topping a photoperiod plant. Many growers do just that. However, if you're going to top them, please understand what you're trying to accomplish by topping the plant. Most people do it to increase yield ... and it will increase it IF you allow some time for your plant to veg some more before flipping to 12/12 for your flower cycle. The concept behind topping/pruning your plant is for every 1 stem cut, 2 branches will emerge in that space. If you allow that veg time after topping/prunning, you can have some pretty impressive runs of stacking buds. Give it a try if you don't believe me ...

18 hours of light 24 degrees celsius or 75 fahrenheit with maximum humidity at 60%, wait and see what happens in a week. Don't panic, everything seems normal. Don't forget to provide nutrients with more PK with quality water, don't drown them.

Since both plants have shown pistils, they are indeed on track to flower. Autoflowers typically flower based on their age rather than light cycles, so it's usually best to let them continue their natural process without intervention. However, if you want to encourage flowering, ensure they have enough light (around 18-20 hours of light per day) and maintain proper nutrients, particularly phosphorus and potassium, which can help enhance flower production. Avoid drastic changes that could stress the plants
