Hi and have a nice Sunday! For a 10-liter pot, it's recommended to use about 2.5 to 5 tablespoons of dolomite lime. This corresponds to about 0.25 to 0.5 tablespoons per liter of soil. However, the exact amount can vary depending on the starting pH of your soil and the desired target pH. For other pot sizes, you can adjust the amount accordingly: 5-liter pot: 1.25 to 2.5 tablespoons 15-liter pot: 3.75 to 7.5 tablespoons 20-liter pot: 5 to 10 tablespoons It's important to be careful not to use too much dolomite lime, as an excess can disrupt the calcium-magnesium ratio in the soil.

For 10 litres, I would not add more than 2-3 tablespoons................it is easy to add more, but impossible to remove if too much is given to begin with.

General Recommendations: * 10-20 grams of dolomite lime per liter of soil: This is a general guideline recommended in many growing guides. * Adjusting to water values: Since your water already has a certain calcium and magnesium content (Ca 40, Mg 7), you may want to reduce the dosage a bit. * Considering the growth duration: With a longer growth duration of 18-20 weeks, it is advisable to use a sufficient amount of dolomite lime to ensure a stable pH and adequate supply of calcium and magnesium. Specific Recommendations for Your Pot Sizes: * 5L pot: 50-100 grams of dolomite lime * 10L pot: 100-200 grams of dolomite lime * 15L pot: 150-300 grams of dolomite lime * 20L pot: 200-400 grams of dolomite lime Important Notes: * It is advisable to thoroughly mix the dolomite lime with the soil to ensure even distribution. * Regularly check the pH of your substrate to ensure it is within the optimal range. * Keep in mind that these figures are guidelines. The actual dosage may vary depending on specific conditions. !!! It’s always better to start with a lower dosage and supplement as needed !!!

You should use about 0.25 to 0.5 tablespoons of dolomite lime per liter of soil. Using a fine powdered dolomite, 2.5 - 5 Tablespoons for a 10L planter, for example, would be an approximate dosage range. However, the exact amount can vary depending on the starting pH of your soil and the target pH you wish to achieve. In most cases, dolomite lime will not raise pH beyond 6.5-7.0 ph in soil but too much can upset the calcium to magnesium ratio in the soil. Over abundance of calcium will lockout most other minerals. The amount of magnesium and calcium present in "Dolomite" makes it a good source of minerals without driving up the pH to a point where its out of range. Just be careful not to use too much.
