IMO. no, they are set on a unchanging limited automatic flowering schedule and can not be controlled or influenced outside of that.
So the time it takes for the cutting to develop its own root system and grow out is al within the limited automatic flowering time and its just not worth it.
If you know of a way to prevent it from bloming then maybe.... but then its just a photoperiod with extra steps at that point.
Highly subjective question. If you grow autoflowers and want the same exact crop, then yes. If so, your SOP should likely include taking a cutting early no matter what.
