1st I’d suggest go to Amazon and get a cheep jewelers magnifier to check tricombs it really the only way to know when the plants ready. Just be patient with harvest don’t harvest 10 days early and ruin everything being impatient . You have to keep in mind it will take at minimum 2 weeks b4 the buds are even really dry enough to smoke but honestly don’t smoke the buds b4 there 30days after harvest. The smoke will be super extra harsh and taste like crap. And even 30 days the buds still don’t taste right. It really takes like 60 to 90 days for buds to cure right but 30 days is definitely acceptable just the buds won’t have the right texture quite yet. I would suggest at this time focusing on having everything you need for harvest Mason jars Mesh drying rack Trimmers Some type of trays to work with when harvesting Possibly a dehumidifier Little things to go in mason jars that keep track of humidity If you don’t have a grow tent setup I would get a box or something and have an exhaust fan
