I’m using the Samsung 301H EVO (100W) LED for my Lemon Cherry Cookie at 30% intensity and 40 cm distance. It’s day 4 after germination. Is this enough, or should I increase the intensity? When is the best time to turn it up? 🌿🔥 Thanks for your feedback! 🙌

Hi, I would recommend downloading the app Photone and using it to measure the light intensity. A plant can absorb a maximum number of DLI per day, and you should aim to reach that value with your lamp. Install the app and then measure at the top of the plant how much DLI you have. Here are some reference values: Seedling phase: 10–15 DLI Vegetative phase: 20–45 DLI Flowering phase: 25–45 DLI. You can build on these and adjust the lamp higher or lower or set more power.

Hey there just keep an eye on the leaves when they are perked up towards the light that means it’s happy if it starts not perking up then you know your prob giving to much light. I’d keep it at the same amount of light for about a week then slowly increase lighting If you run into where you over watered or the plant is to stressed and the plant get saggy and not perking up at all then you will need to give it a whole day break in lower lighting and it will bounce back
