Seeds need fresh air (oxygen) to germinate. Be sure to leave at last some .. or one hole. I don't watch temperature for sprouting. Living room should be warm enough 😀 For outdoor it should not be a problem if you plant/transport seedling instead of seeds. If the seed does not make it, she was probably weak anyway😅

As long as you don’t the seeds to hot I’m sure anything you can put seeds and paper towel inside will work I’d keep the temp under 82 and over 70

Just germinate seeds between a wet paper towel in a ziplock bag somewhere dark like under the sink or in a cupboard
