Fan Leaves Turning Yellow at Week 3

Hey guys, is it normal for fan leaves to turn yellow? It seems to be getting worse each day. Plant is 3 weeks old, strain is Strawberry Gorilla Auto. I'm using Lightmix and the full BioBizz nutrient line, pH and environment seem fine. Any ideas what might be wrong?

At this stage, that kind of yellowing likely comes from multiple overlapping factors. You’re using the full BioBizz line, so nutrients are probably there—but uptake might be limited due to early root stress, overwatering, or pH drift in the Lightmix. It also looks like light intensity might be a bit too high for a young auto, which increases metabolic demand that roots can’t keep up with. Basically, the plant might be getting more light than it can support with available nutrition. Try easing off intensity a bit, let the medium dry slightly between waterings, and monitor runoff pH if possible. No single issue jumps out—it’s likely a mix.

She looks hungry for nitrogen. make sure youre feeding correctly. If you are doing everything else right then maybe you need to check your ph. Thats something that can hold the plant back from getting the right nutrient levels.

If you’re already using the full BioBizz line then it’s probably just the soil running a bit empty and the plant asking for more nitrogen. Happens often in Lightmix around this stage. Hard to say 100% without a diary or more details, but I’d give a little more grow nutrients next feed and keep an eye on the new growth that’s what matters. The old leaves won’t recover.
