Hi everyone, I recently started growing a Gelato Auto seed. It is now week 13 since it sprouted, 10 weeks into flowering, but the trichomes are not changing at all.. Most are clear or a little milky, there is 0 amber trichomes. Has anyone else had this problem? 1 week into flush

Amateur same with a sticky orange xxl auto. Keep giving water. Might be another week for amber to show. I clipped a popcorn and small branch to dry and test. Popcorn was smooth and intense. Branch is drying for an unbiased guest test. Lol your buds look nice.

Plant is slowly dying........many issues.........probably does not have the energy required to have a properly functioning metabolism and finish maturation. Reducing you lights on time by one hour can get it to hurry up and finish, but without healthy leaves, trichome maturation will not really happen. Also, some plants never get amber trichomes no matter how long you leave them.

Hey there just be patient your on the final strech insure in 7 to 10days your buds will start to finish up and all the hairs will start to change colors Just remember don’t cut down your plants to early it will make them not smoke very good or taste very good

ps if some of the buds like in photo no1 are getting harder to trim there is nothing against harvesting a few tops and leaving the rest to finish

Hey growmie, yeah I wouldn’t chop yet. Trichs still look mostly clear with a bit of cloudy, no amber at all, so she's not ready. Doesn’t matter that it's week 13, some phenos just run long, especially with Gelato crosses. Breeder timelines are just a rough guide anyway. You’re getting that fade, so the flush is working, but the buds still have some swelling left in them. I’d keep going another week or so and check daily. Wait for more cloudy and at least a few ambers before taking her down. You’re close, don’t rush it now🤞🍀♥️
