Hey growmie, gonna stop you right there — I've been growing for 25 years, and a huge chunk of that under 24/0. Especially with autos and vegging photoperiods. Not only do they grow just fine, they thrive. Bigger, bushier, faster. That whole "plants need sleep" claim? It's outdated. Cannabis doesn't have a nervous system or melatonin cycle. It’s not a human, it’s a weed, and it evolved to adapt, not nap. Yes, 18/6 works too. But acting like 24/0 ruins metabolism is straight-up myth. If 24/0 truly “damaged” plants, I’d have noticed it sometime in the last two decades. Let people grow how they want, not everyone needs to follow 1990s forum dogma.

NEVER, EVER grow at 24/0............all cannabis plants, autos included NEED "sleep" for a correctly functioning metabolism. A plant with an incorrectly functioning metabolism will never reach its full potential............18/6 is optimal. It is an absolute MYTH that it is ok to grow cannabis at 24/0! Plants have a daily photosynthesis cycle, they need "down time" or "sleep" to do certain metabolic processses during the lights out period that they can not do during lights on. Do not remove any more leaves, your plant needs maximum amount of leaves so that it can make maximum amounts of energy for maximum potential. Week 6 is suggesting a need for more P and K, also a increase in your cal/mag.

Your Gorilla Glue Auto is looking really solid for week 6. Based on the expected 10-week lifespan of this strain, you’re right on track — maybe even slightly ahead. The structure looks great: healthy color, strong leaf mass, and well-spread from the LST. You’ve created enough surface area for light to hit, which will help the buds stack well during bloom. At this stage, no signs of overfeeding or stress are visible. You could optionally do a little defoliation on the lower leaves to improve airflow and penetration, but nothing urgent. Just keep your environment stable and let her stretch into flower — she looks ready for it. Great job so far!

If you want your plant to get thicker and more robust, you should try topping it. That's when you trim the main stem to encourage the side branches to grow more. You could also try low-stress training. That's where you gently bend and tie down the branches to expose more of the plant to light. Topping is a great way to make your plant bushier. You just snip off the top of the main stem. This forces the plant to send out new shoots from the sides, making it wider and fuller. It's best to do this when the plant is young and has at least four sets of leaves. Low-stress training is another good option. You gently bend the branches and tie them down. This exposes more of the plant to light, which helps it grow more evenly. You can use soft plant ties or even just some string. It's important to be gentle so you don't damage the plant. Both of these techniques can really help your plant grow bigger and stronger. They might seem a little scary at first, but they're pretty easy once you get the hang of it. Just remember to be patient and gentle with your plant, and you'll see results in no time.

Hey there your plant looks good. Next time maybe hitting it a little harder durring veg stage would make it stack better Early veg is always important to setting up the main structure to the plant. Getting you light closer durring this phase will bring you plant to the next level and the plant will be filled in a lot better

PS, she might be a bit too thinned out though, next time maybe leave a bit more foliage up top to help feed the buds. Autos don’t always love aggressive defoliation, especially if done too early.

Hey growmie, for Week 6 she’s lookin’ solid! Nice color, no signs of major stress, and good leaf posture. Buds are stacking up, and she seems happy overall. Just make sure she’s getting enough light intensity and watch your watering, autos can be picky late veg/early flower. You’re on the right track, keep it steady and don’t overfeed now.
