Here are some considerations on how light might affect:
1. Light too close: If the lamp is too close, it could cause heat stress or photo-inhibition (the plant can't photosynthesize properly). If the temperature in your grow tent is high (above 30°C), it's better to raise the light slightly to prevent direct heat from damaging the plants.
2. Light too far: If the light is too far away, the plants might stretch too much and become "leggy," trying to reach closer to the light (etiolation). This is another sign that the light might be insufficient.
The Solution:
If the plants are a bit yellow and curled and you notice that the temperature is high, try raising the light a few centimeters to reduce direct heat, but be careful not to move it too far away, otherwise the plants might "stretch" excessively.
Check the temperature at the point where the plants are positioned. If it's too high, you might also consider using a fan or improving air extraction to lower the temperature.
Other solutions: If the light doesn't seem to be the main issue (for example, if the temperature is controlled), I recommend focusing on proper feeding (as we discussed earlier) and pH balance.
Summary:
If the light is too close and it's hot, raise it a bit.
If it's too far away, lower it slightly to prevent the plants from stretching too much.
