Can you help me figure out why are my plants growing slower than expected? I'm suspecting PH as I'm not measuring it or too low of a ppfd?

Different strains grow at different rates, make sure you are looking at diaries of what you are growing. Also, I have noticed that not everyone considers week 1 the same thing, therefore you may be looking at photos of older plants. Additionally, more experienced growers have this process dialed in and that takes times to learn (still getting there myself). I would keep a careful eye on the brown tip of the one cotelydon leaf, especially if the first true leaves also brown at the tips. It could be a sign of a pH issue. I know you are watching your watering carefully, which is wise, but if coco gets too dry the pH can change. I use my finger in the soil to feel for wetness and water when it starts to feel dry and the leaves look like they are about to droop, but you'll learn a method that works for you. I saw in your diary you were wondering about light intensity. This article may be helpful, I use their free app to measure light. https://growlightmeter.com/lighting-requirements-of-cannabis-over-the-full-grow-cycle/ Happy growing, and congrats on the new plant!

So if I understand correctly, you’re growing in coco coir and you’re not using a pH meter? With soil, you can sometimes get away without one, but with coco, you really should always measure the pH of your water. And of course, for your first test grow, you’ve chosen a plant that requires more attention than some others. That means you need to be even more precise. From what I see, the plant looks a bit too light, a bit too yellow. That could be due to an imperfect pH level. At this stage, you don’t really need to add nutrients yet — your medium should have enough for the first 10 days. Unless, of course, it’s 100% coco coir. In that case, I’d definitely suspect the pH. Do you know the pH value of the water you’re using?
