You really need pictures of all sides of a mushroom (including underneath) to ID it. If you are more curious you can download an app like Mushroom Identificator (not as good as some, but still free) to get an idea of what it might be. To get further detail you would rip the stem off, place the cap on a white sheet of paper and cover it with a glass and leave it undisturbed for 24 hours. Based on the color of the spores left on the paper you can refine the list of mushrooms down to the most likely candidate(s). That being said, most mushrooms are inedible, and there are many that are poisonous to eat. It doesn't look like anything I forage for, lol, but I focus on choice mushrooms.
That being said, they won't harm your plant and might help them.
