I am wondering if anyone has used Chitosan in flower phase to boost overall trichome development? if yes do you foliar spray week 3 / 5 or just root drench? any negtaive effects on taste when using as foliar?

Yeah, some growers do use chitosan during the flowering phase to boost trichome production. Application: Foliar spray: Weeks 3–5 is common. Root drench: Can be used throughout flower. Taste impact: No noticeable negative effects on flavor when sprayed early in flower and used at proper dosage. Just avoid spraying too late in bloom to prevent residue on buds.

The stuff I used was spay only before flip to flower then root application once flipped. I would not be spraying anything on any buds regardless of its product claims of safety. Canna industry is sketchy at best.
