Pre-moistened soil before transplant Q

Is mixing soil with root juice and water prior to transplanting a seedling beneficial? I’m worried that if I’ll add additional water on top it would become too much water. Thanks

Yes it is!! But take in count a few things, first, just add a bit of water to have the soil moisted but not soaked. And then, if you are going to water the plant immediately you don't really need to mix the soil with water. Just transplant and add water with the root juice =)

If your potting mix or soil is dry it is useful to give it a good soaking a day before hand, you wnt the roots to have areas to explore that are moist and won't dry them out. I don't know if you have to treat all of it with rootjuice. I would just use the water you will give it after a transplant for that. You could however mix in a product into the transplant hole that does the same thing, most of that stuff need contact with the roots to be effective.
