Defoliation during stretch

I have a question about defoliation and removing some samller branches during stretch, would you recommend it or wait until the stretch has finished or defoliate always a little. Thanks for any answer!

I would wait until the stretch is over so you don't interrupt it. And after that, just remove the necessary ones, those that cover the buds or are completely in the shade at the bottom.
