Should I add substrate to my seedlings?

Hello, I’m hesitant to add substrate in my pots (around 1cm) because I find the stem’s base very thin compared to its height. Is this a good idea, or does it risk damaging the plant? (Both plants in pictures, 2 different strains). Thanks

5 mm till cotyledons - yes, BUT only on watering day, before watering. Later you can work up , when plant will stretch out. My recommendation - not more than 1 cm lair per week.

Hey 👋 I always leave a little space, just in case the little one stretches or something. So you can definitely add more soil on top. I would proceed as asnoriu described. On the day you water, before watering. But don't forget to leave about 1 cm of watering edge, otherwise you'll have a lot of dirt after watering later on. Good luck with the rest 👊🍀🖖

Just add more soil to stabilize it! You can also remove the two cotyals to have even more play up 👍🏻 I wish you good luck and happy growing 💚
