this could be an issue like AsNoriu said if they are not autos. The rule of thumb is if you can read a regular print book at arms length under that light then its to bright. Its BruceBugbee trick who studies cannabis. this is his simple test for "is it to bright" if you do not own a light meter. The darkness is where the plant builds up hormons that bring it into flower and in photoperiod plants the hormones are light sensitive and take time to get back up and running after they been exposed to light again. so it could cause a plant to reveg or hemi out from the stress. I'd invest in a different timer, the one I have does not do this and I am also running LED's

It's not the timer it's cheap light or malfunction. Except you have a digital timer with a dim function or something exotic. Common, mechanical timer are on or off, perhaps never on or never off, but nothing between. I'll spare a halfway right explanation but it's common and discussed - I'm sure you find some discussions about lights that dim sometime after power gets shut off. ("ghosting" "afterglow") Regarding the "droopiness" if you have autoflowers sometimes I observed some are not going into energy saving mode ever. On the other hand, I have photos which somehow watch out for clouds and immediately drop everything they have ;-) Is it a problem, for autos no. For photos, I'd say depends. If you have outdoor plants and are not in the perfect environment you'll have light pollution. Sometimes they take this personally and herm away, others are more stable/get used to slight irritations. Suppose that goes for indoor as well. Best of luck :-)

It will be huge problem if its not auto plants. Even with autos you could bump into some isdues. Buy new timer asap. I use girl nail polish , black, put 3-4 lairs to get rid of any indicators light.
