Has anyone else noticed a drop in photo quality on Growdiaries?

And not only has the image quality dropped off but the aspect ratio of the photos in my older galleries has all changed to 1:1, meaning a square image. Looking back through my older diary photos, some of them just seem like terrible photos because what were originally 3:2 or even 16:10 ratios have been cropped to become 1:1, losing the majority of what should have been in the photo. It's definitely disappointing because i feel like the photos are such a huge part of what we're all here to see and share. Of course, the actual grow information is important too but it's just not as nice of an experience to scroll through photos as it used to be.

Prob just changing the way they do compression of their photos and videos on the site. I’m sure there site gets more busy year by year as more places legalize growing.

Not for the first time. I personally lost half of my first year here, 4 years of account message board records, our details were leaked not once and so on and on ... Soon they will have 100K diary, thats a lot of info to store, they search for solutions ... Facebook messenger cuts quality to bits, in other words , it can always be worse ;))))))
