m0useanswered grow question 15h ago DLI as on 24hr they looked stretchy
This does not make sense its like saying. miles per hour as on 24hours.
DLI is a number calculated based off of PPFD and Time the lights are on. If you lights are on 24hrs, that's only part of it. How long are they on. and what is their PPFD at that dim setting and hang height. Then you can ruff draft your DLI.
PPFD relates to the dim as its controlling how much energy is being broadcasted by the lights.
Eg of this is my lights. To hit a DLI of 37, I have to set my lights to 40% dim, hang them from 30" and set the timmer to 16/8
In bloom I set them to 60% hang them again from 30" and set the timer to 11/13
If I changed the dim setting for more intensity, or the light schedule to longer on times or moved the lights closer, it would all result in a higher DLI.
The same is true of the opposite, if I lowered my dim setting, or the light schedule to shorter on time or moved the light further away it would all result in a lower DLI
The lights manufacture would have the PPFD maps available, uses standard han heights and dims in common tent sizes. if not, ask them, they should have them. You can use that to find you ballpark DLI.
