So, a question for growers out there, please. I am starting my seedlings in rapid rooters. So far, I think things are going well. That said, I have noticed that the rooters do not entirely fill the space in the tray. Should I add some soil to give them more "deep" darkness?

There is no need to do that. Roots will form inside the rooters just fine. The compact cubes are making them easier to be transplanted later. Imho they already look big enough to go into a real pot. 😊

Hey there you’re fine either way. I would suggest in the future starting seeds in a solo cup. I only suggest this because when you start seeds in those starter plugs the tap root doesn’t have very far to go till it hits the bottom the starter plugs are not large enough to get a decent little root system going b4 transplanting. In my opionon starter plugs can stunt growth of seedling started from seed. Don’t worry your plants will be fine just make sure to transfer them b4 there roots get all twisted into each other in the small starter plugs… also starter plugs don’t really have any nutrients in them you can see the lower leaves in your seedlings already starting to yellow from lack of nutrients.. adding soil to the holes with the plugs might help with lack of nutrients but also might make it harder to transplant… if your roots are sticking out the bottom maybe consider transplanting soon

You’re doing fine, no need to add soil around the rapid rooters. The roots will naturally search for darkness and space once transplanted. Just make sure the plugs stay moist but not soaked and they’ll explode once they hit the main medium

Hi.. No defiantly not. When you pick them up it's just going to fall all over the place.. There's no reason to do this the roots themselves will grow within the pucks and stick out and most probably airprune to some extent, check out the diary Iv just put on, they are clones but it's the same principle for rooting out.. Some roots are 10 cm long il get more pictures on today, as long as you saturated enough feed from the bottom now to send the roots searching, there's probably holes in the bottom of that tray so put it on a plate or something like that and water onto that..
