Light leak is it too much for photoperiod plants?

Hey there fellow growers :) i would like to ask something about light. Im using t600 100w with cheap classic outlet timer for lights. its normal to give so much light while the light should be off? im growing autoflower at the moment. Would this much light matter if i i grow phot

Something very wrong with this...........if it is off, there should be complete darkness and no bulbs glowing!
Not ideal for autos and certainly would not be ok if you were growing photos.
Get a proper timer for a start.
