The recommendations on my fertilizer tell to not fertilize in week 11 do they mean actually week 11 or is this the usual don’t fertilize one week before harvest recommendation?

Flushing is for hydroponics. It doesn't work in soil.

I’m using the same one and I understand it as ā€œstop feeding about one week before harvestā€, not literally week 11 for every plant. Not all strains finish at the same time, so a fixed week number wouldn’t make much sense. That said, you’re right — there are studies showing that flushing doesn’t really change nutrient levels in the final product. With an organic fertilizer like the S&R Organics 5-in-1, I usually just let the plant fade naturally and don’t stress too much about flushing hard. Also… great choice šŸ˜„ it really does smell like cocoa, doesn’t it? Always makes feeding a bit more enjoyable.

The usual "stop all fertilizers and supplements 10-14 days before the expected harvest day" is what I would recommend. Sticking to a rigid calendar schedule without considering what the plants are actually doing is not ideal.
