Some plants just have a weaker start. I’ve got one in soil right now that was planted at the same time as another and started much slower, but it eventually caught up. So don’t stress too much — as long as it has good color and looks healthy, it’ll be fine 🌱 How do the roots look?

Hello, at this stage, this planty doesn’t need lot of nutrients and if the ec is too high, the growth will slow down even more. Do you use bloom fertiliser already or did I get it wrong reading your text? And it might be that your top feed ring is too far for the roots to reach yet, because the taproot usually goes straight downwards. Anyways I wouldn’t worry too much, some plants just take a bit longer :)

Yes, once the roots get established she will take off fast. As a side note, always measure your ppfd/dli with something like Photone to ensure your plant is getting the recommended level of light for its stage of growth/week. Looks good!

Hey mate yes, this can be totally normal, especially this early. At ~8 days in DWC, a lot of plants are doing their work below the surface, not above it. Root development comes first, and we can’t see that part from the photo. Some plants pop fast, others take their time, both can end up just fine. A few key points to keep in mind: • Every plant grows at its own pace, even from the same strain • Early on, slow top growth often means the plant is building roots • Fresh water + refreshed nutrients = good move šŸ‘ As long as: • Leaves look green and alive • No obvious twisting, burning, or drooping …there’s usually nothing to worry about yet. At this stage, patience is honestly one of the best tools. Give it a few more days and she should start showing more activity above the clay pebbles. Just my humble opinion, you’re doing the right things so far 🌱
