Hey mate yes, this can be totally normal, especially this early.
At ~8 days in DWC, a lot of plants are doing their work below the surface, not above it. Root development comes first, and we canāt see that part from the photo. Some plants pop fast, others take their time, both can end up just fine.
A few key points to keep in mind:
⢠Every plant grows at its own pace, even from the same strain
⢠Early on, slow top growth often means the plant is building roots
⢠Fresh water + refreshed nutrients = good move š
As long as:
⢠Leaves look green and alive
⢠No obvious twisting, burning, or drooping
ā¦thereās usually nothing to worry about yet.
At this stage, patience is honestly one of the best tools. Give it a few more days and she should start showing more activity above the clay pebbles.
