Definitely defoliate and consider flipping to flower soon as your space looks quite crowded, with the limited information provided that would be my recommendation.

Hey mate, First thing first: the plants themselves actually look vigorous and alive, so you’re not failing here. This is just one of those moments where organization and environment start to matter as much as feeding and light. Purely my humble opinion, but I’d focus on a few basics before doing anything aggressive: Cleanliness & order A cleaner room isn’t about being fancy, it’s about avoiding future problems. Spills, standing water, old leaves, clutter… that’s where pests, mold, and fungus start, not where they end. Even just a quick tidy makes a huge difference long-term. šŸŒ¬ļø Airflow Right now the canopy looks pretty dense. Dense plants + weak airflow = moisture pockets. You don’t need a hurricane, but you want: • Air moving through the canopy, not just above it • Leaves gently moving, not flapping Good airflow is one of the cheapest forms of pest and mold prevention. āœ‚ļø Defoliation (gentle, not extreme) I wouldn’t go heavy, especially if it’s an early grow. But: • Remove damaged, dying, or heavily shaded leaves • Clear the lower interior a bit so air and light can pass Think of it as helping the plant breathe, not styling it. šŸ› Pests – prevention mindset Rooms that are crowded and messy don’t cause pests… but they make life very easy for them. You might be fine now, but prevention is always easier than treatment. Clean floor, clean pots, no old organic debris sitting around. And honestly, there is no single right way. Some people run wild jungles and still pull harvests. Others keep surgical rooms. What matters is learning why things work or don’t. So take this as one grower’s perspective, not a rulebook. If it’s your space, your grow, your experiment… you should absolutely try different approaches and see how plants respond. You’re on the path already 🌱 Just tightening the environment will make everything else easier. Grower love my friend and keep us posted šŸ‘Š

Clean it up a bit and defoliate the lower third, then it will have more light penetration and better airflow, clean up to reduce the risk of fungal/ pest infestation. The plant looks well :)
