Hi everyone I'm on my first try with two sfg og auto and two-skywalker-haze. My question is on watering. I've been monitoring substrate temps, moisture levels and ec levels etc. Should I dry back to 25% and if so should the probe be in the top of the pot or bottom.....or middle?

Salam Sativaclub14! ๐Ÿ‘‹ Welcome to the high-tech side of growing! ๐Ÿ“Š Using data on your first run is very impressive. That is true Modern Engineering! ๐Ÿ› ๏ธ 1. The Probe Location: ๐Ÿ“ You want the "Goldilocks Zone." Top: Dries out too fast (gives you false panic). ๐ŸŒต Bottom: Stays wet/salty the longest (gives you false security). ๐ŸŒŠ The Fix: Insert the probe about 1/3 to 1/2 way down into the pot. This tells you what the main root ball is actually drinking. 2. Drybacks (The Magic): ๐Ÿ“‰ Yes! Drying back is crucial. As the water leaves, fresh Oxygen enters the substrate. Roots need oxygen to breathe and expand. Target: 25-30% moisture is a great target to trigger your next watering (assuming you are in soil/mix). The Warning: As moisture drops, EC (salt concentration) rises. If you let it get too dry (like Lift the Pot! ๐Ÿ‹๏ธโ€โ™‚๏ธ If the sensor says 25% and the pot feels light as a feather, give her a drink! Happy Growing! ๐Ÿ’š
