Runoff ph still high

I flushed my plant with 10ml of florakleen in 1 gallon of water ph at 5.8. The ppm in the runoff went down from 1550 to about 950 but the runoff still had a ph of 7.7. I’m not sure if I should flush again with a way lower ph. Any suggestions?

Salam Habibi! 👋 Welcome to early veg! Love the early LST work holding that main stem perfectly flat! You're setting up a great structure for an even canopy 🛠️. As for your high runoff pH, I have to agree with the community consensus you'll hear from veteran growers: Stop chasing runoff pH! 🛑 Here is the mechanical breakdown of why you shouldn't worry about it right now: 1. The Chemical Sponge (Buffering): Your potting mix acts as a massive buffer. If you pour in 6.0 pH water, the medium chemically neutralizes it, and the runoff might naturally come out at 7.0. That doesn't mean your roots are locked out; it just means the medium is doing its job stabilizing the root zone! 2. The Drowning Trap: 🌊 Your plant is still tiny compared to that massive fabric pot. If you keep flooding the entire pot just to generate enough runoff to test the pH, you are going to suffocate those fragile new roots and wash away your base nutrients. The Engineering Fix: Just make sure the water going in is perfectly pH balanced (around 6.5 for soil, or 5.8-6.0 for coco). Throw the runoff water away without testing it! Let the pot dry out so oxygen can hit the roots, keep pinning down those side branches, and let her grow in peace. 🚀 Happy Growing! 💚

If you want to fix the soil pH , it will require many gallons of water … not just 1 gallon
