Hi, and thanks for the question. This is how I usually handle it. I count Week 00 as the germination phase, from Monday to Sunday, where the seed pops and the first two leaves (cotyledons) appear. After that, Week 01 of the vegetative stage begins. For flowering, I count it either from the moment you switch your lights to 12/12, or when you first notice pistils forming on the plant, which is often the case with autoflowers. I hope that helps a bit. In my experience, using a Week 00 for germination makes tracking the timeline much more accurate. Have Fun and a good Time. 👊

Check the germination part of your journal that’s where the start date can be added or edited. If you didn’t enter it at first, the site often just goes by the diary creation date. You can always correct it later, and many people also write the true germ date in the comments for their own record 👊👍

You can edit it on the germination part of the journal. Most of the times people just put in the comments the germination dates to keep a log.

Hello Gorillagrower, I just finished my grow and I also did not put the germination date till I found out later that you can add it to the germination week. Here you can also add the percentage of the seeds successfully germinated. But because I only did the diary so I could save the information and pictures on the website intead off on my phone I did put all the information like germination date and de dates that I made the pictures inside the update comment section when you create the weeks and as a comment on the posted pictures. Have a nice grow! 💚

You can go to your profile and see all your strains and you can edit them / add weeks

It's up to you to enter the germination date.
