Using Blumat Classics with a 1.5-week-old seedling can be a bit of a gamble because their root systems are still so small and delicate. Since the roots haven't spread out much yet, the main danger is that the Blumat might keep the soil too consistently saturated right where the stem is, which can easily lead to damping off or root rot at that age. If you decide to go through with it for those 5ā6 days, Iād suggest placing the ceramic cone a bit further away from the base of the plant than you would with an adult, so the moisture wicks toward the roots rather than drowning them. Also, make sure you give the pot a good manual water and set the Blumat tension correctly a day before you leave to ensure it's dialed in. If the pot is small, like a solo cup or starter pot, a single Classic might actually provide too much water, so checking the flow rate beforehand is key. Happy Growing Growmieš±
