Mutation or a problem?

The calyxes are forming at the base of the fan leaves, right where the leaf stem meets the main stem. Is that normal, or could it indicate a problem?

A "common" mutation that I have encountered many times over the years. It is not an issue or indication of something being "wrong".............just a curious example of one of the many weird and wonderful things cannabis plants are capable of. You have nothing to be worried about. In week 7 of my diary "cannabis conundrums" I have posted pictures of the exact same thing as well as a few other oddities if you are keen for a look.

Good morning... I had already read that this type of mutation was quite common but I never had that luck... But you can relax, it's not a problem but rather an opportunity to increase the harvest a bit... good job

Hey growmie! Absolutely normal, nothing to worry about. It's just a natural sign of vigorous flowering and maturity. Some strains love to pop out little calyxes right at the base of the leaf stems. Enjoy the show! 🌱👍
