Does anyone know what might be causing this yellowing and spotting? I’m pretty positive it’s not nutrients but I’m thinking it could be heat stress. temps have been in the low 80s sometimes and the plant is somewhat close to the light. The only thing is the lower leaves are affec

Hi! I took a closer look at the picture. The main problem is definitely the lamp – it’s hanging way too close, and the heat is really doing it in. You can really see how the leaves at the top are curling up at the edges (tacoing) to protect themselves from the light, and the tips are bleaching out. Since the metabolism is running at full power, it’s directly leading to a significant CalMag deficiency – that’s where all those rusty spots and yellow areas between the veins are coming from. Further down, it’s still much greener, which absolutely indicates light/heat stress. You should raise the lamp by about 10–20 cm or dim it down a bit. Also, check the pH level and add some CalMag to the watering, then it should bounce back. But leave the burnt leaves on for now until it stabilizes. Just my opinion 😉

80°F will not cause heat stress normally. I would raise the growlight to about 1 foot above the canopy. It can be lightstress. It also looks like calcium def. But I would raise the growlight first.
