Growing in DWC I’d recommend that you not use the very small plant starters designed for Aero Garden. Use RapidRooters instead. Your plants and roots will thrive much better. A PH of 5.8 is perfect in DWC, but there is usually a drift during the day you have to account for, so shoot between 5.8 and 6.2. Going outside that range for a length of time will start causing damage to the roots and plant.
Growing bag seed, especially a hermie, well you get what you sow. Probably another hermie, at least with the tendency of one. Growing good weed starts with known good genetics. It takes too long to grow and hope for a good outcome. Grow and know what you’re getting. Buy good seeds, or get them from a good source.
If you’re using only the bloom solution of the trio General Hydroponics, your plants are not receiving any macro nutrients. It still needs some nitrogen to grow, not as much. GH are great, I use them, and also grow DWC.
