With a pre-amended organic soil like Back to the Roots you don't need to add anything for the first 3-4 weeks, the soil already has enough for seedlings and early veg, and early feeding is the most common way to burn them. Plain pH'd water (6.0-6.5) is enough. Start thinking about nutrients when the plant has been in the pot about 3-4 weeks, or when growth slows and the lower leaves pale evenly. At that point use a mild organic liquid at 1/4 to 1/2 of the label dose, or top-dress, and watch how the plant reacts for a few days before increasing. Check the label of your exact mix, since the nutrient load varies between products

https://www.amazon.nl/Blumat-IG15462-Digitale-grondvochtigheidssensor/dp/B000LLOUKY/ref=asc_df_B000LLOUKY?mcid=d6027f85305035dc95861395b19dec35&tag=nlshogostdde-21&linkCode=df0&hvadid=710117879405&hvpos=&hvnetw=g&hvrand=16796985069520530445&hvpone=&hvptwo=&hvqmt=&hvdev=c&hvdvcmdl=&hvlocint=&hvlocphy=9102606&hvtargid=pla-391347646493&psc=1&hvocijid=16796985069520530445-B000LLOUKY-&hvexpln=0&gad_source=1 That product works well in soil. It indicates when is the sweet spot etc. When your plant starts turning a bit yellow - its time to add nutrients. From a noob to a noob: Better to go with a nutrient line that has a growing schedule with it on what to use.

Hi 🙋‍♂️ It depends on your soil. With pre-fertilized soil, you usually have about 3 weeks before you should use fertilizer for the first time. With light mix soils, you can start lightly after the 2nd week. The best indicator in the end is your plant… take a look at it a few days after fertilizing and see if it tolerates the feeding. Hope that helps 👍👊🖖🏾
