@growdoctordc, good analogy, and you are exactly right. During this current grow, some reading I have done expressed the same points you made. My current intention is to leave them on. I want to keep the plant damage minimal this time around, and am even wondering if I shouldn't have fimmed. My biggest worry though is that the two large leaves right now are shading out the plant itself, not the flowers. I can't do a 10 & 2 light position because I only have one light, but luckily it is a wide one. Thank you for the comment!
