@FIE5TA, just posted an update if you wanna see how bad the canopy looks :/ I topped them as well to stop them from growing too fast in the tent but regardless my other plant ate all the light so it lagged back 2 weeks maybe.
@Tokvro, Got it, bro. I grew another plant of this same strain before, but in soil, and it did pretty well there side branching developed nice and fast. The strain’s definitely resilient, but something in the conditions is holding it back, we just gotta figure out what exactly. I’m running this one on coco now, and those early hiccups can totally be from the coco itself sometimes it comes a bit salty, sometimes more acidic than ideal. Also, definitely ease off the nitrogen once flowering kicks in.
As for the heavy breeding and hybrid stuff: yeah, could be a factor, but honestly most modern strains are the result of endless crossing, so you could say the same about almost anything except pure landraces :)
@FIE5TA, definitely agree this strains very resilient and I didn’t have too high PPM in the beginning I just feel like with all the crossbreeding done to create this strain is what’s causing slow growth. Even now the new nodes take about a week or more to develop. Just hoping that in flower it takes off. Currently since I had it in a 2x2 tent 50% of the main branching doesn’t reach half way up the canopy due to lack of light. You’ll see me update the grow in about a week or 2
