Definitely do not use at the manufacturer's recommended strength. I used it at 1/4 strength and still managed to burn my plants. Giving them each 3/5 stars because while they fed my plants well (the three stars) their directions are unrealistic and will kill your plants (the -2 stars).

This light is great but it runs hot, expect to get light burn at some point (-1 star). Adjusting the intensity is a pain, there is a rubber stopper that needs to be removed but it is held in by very hot metal shielding, not well thought out (-1 star). 3 stars.

Very easy to grow, took a lot of newbie errors and still produced.
