@Paulolo03, Hey man, i also use LST and untrained plants to compare at the end :). I didnt't expect such a difference in hight to be honest. But we gonna see what yields the best.
@absolutgrow, hey ! I took a look at your diary few minutes before you actually comment this :P
Yes, it is the result of LST, which worked very very well. Make sure to adjust it at least 2 or 3 times a week with the purpose to have no one branches higher than the others, you'll notice sometimes that the plant respond overnight !
My plants look healthy but I'm dealing with high temperatures (around 40°C sometimes), they are very strong and endure it but I think it affects their grow lately, I hope I'll have the decent harvest I expect.
If you've more question, I'm here ;)
Happy growing man
@absolutgrow, thanks bro, I actually already have or tried everything you mentioned: my exhaust fan is 720m³/h (my grow box about 0,9m x 2,4m), 2 smaller ones to bring in fresh air from the outside (about 350m³/h).
The temperatures was fine from the beginning to week 4, I guess because my humidity was set at 70% and as you say, it helps to cool down the temp.
When they started to flower, I changed for 50 to 55%, the temperature went too high, it's summer and we had 2 heat waves, so I bought 2 cooltubes, it probably helps but it's still too hot... Don't want more humidity for the risk of mould again exactly as you said... And I can't move the box, it's outside in a woodshed. I have a good isolation for winter but the air comes directly from outside so if it's hot outside, you see.. I already thought about the LED but can't afford it yet, I will probably invest for the next grow but also wondering if I really should because next grow will be in winter and that heat produced by my HPS would be useful ! I'll keep growing with what I have and learn from this first experience ! I'm gonna follow your diary and see how it goes ;)
@absolutgrow, thank you for your comment and the reason that I tie the main stem is to create some buffer distance between the grow medium and the plant himself to avoid leaves and branches touching the soil that could cause a problem . but also gives me the ability to pull hard in to the side I want to bend in order to create a more even flower bed good luck with your garden and have a Happy grow
