@StoneJackson, aye man that's it. The bloody weather this year in my part of Australia is shithouse to say the least. The same thing happened to me due to the lower hrs of light in my garden and many plants began to flower at the end of December, however those same plants seem to have reveged for a short period causing lots of lateral growth. So life gives you lemons then you make lemon haze.
@StoneJackson, the plants in my garden range from 1 metre to 1.7 metres and all have bushy growth. The reason for this is due to age, so while they didn't receive a great amount of sunlight in their last month of veg which resulted in them sort of staggering into flower, they did grow quite a number of branches. To combat pests I try to encourage a healthy environment, birds, bees and bugs are generally welcome, and if not. Well I take them far far away (plenty of space) and hope they won't return. I weed every day or so because I don't have money for expensive mulch and instead I just put the time in. Dead grass seems to make an ok mulch anyway.
