, sounds good, those are going to be some happy roots with that much space! Yes, cali octane is as advertised, strong fuel terps, very high delta 9 and good production. A strong hybrid with beautiful flower structure. You will love it. Will be cool to see how similar yours is and the jelly too 😎

, hi bro, yes, they could be transplanted now. The problem is that i first have to built and prepare their 'beds' which will contain about 130 - 170l of soil. With these large beds malnutrition is more or less impossible. But it will take the whole next week🤷♂️ Hella Jelly will get a big fabric pot of 100l. I'll keep the VPD as low as possible next week so that the growth rate will lower a bit. Please tell me bro, is the octane smoke strong?

, heard that. I think you and Manik both got the right phenotype. Restored my faith in humbolt a bit. I'll probably pop the remaining seeds next run and see if i can get a slightly fancier version of p1. Its a beautiful flower, fuel with some other light terps, genetically purple and north of 25% delta 9. I thought it was just colder temps, but the other pheno is 100% green still. The website says 60 days flower now, I swear it used to say 65. Well, they are right. Depending on what flavor of trich's you want, it can be done between 55-65 days.

Lookin good Manik, I agree, give them a little dark time to rest and recover. what size container are you going to end in? I have a feeling those girls are about ready to move to a bigger home, perhaps when they recover from the trimming you'll be in good shape for a transplant. 👍

, Yea man, i was thinking also haw to start without medium from seed but it was to challenging for me right now. Want to try that in the future, probably with clones. First time on HPA grow ( Sky Walker OG) i have short misting timings ,from 0.4s to 3/4s think, it was drain to waist run. Timer at the time i was using are completely unreelable, it fuck me couple off times, so girls are suffering for that. If something go wrong you have litttle to non time for fixing. In longer shots i have some buffer to realise foulty timers . With short misting cycles EC drop after every shot so recirculation is bit challenging for me. Next time growing Fast Buds i was going for longer shots and recirculation. I am more familiar on that type of grow. Shorter misting is great for stacking tight internodal spacing for sure , actually i think to try fogponics watering in night hours in early flowering, first 3 weeks or so. That will be sick i think. Unfortunately foggers heat water a lot ang in short time so need to consider that. Shorter shoots are indeed better for that ALIEN looking root structure 1000%!! Roots looking unreal on short misting 😵 Hope roots are good, so far no problems, i have unopened bottle of AN Sensizyme , hope everything is finish right so it will stay unopened😏

, Totally agree on everything. Reason why i swish to lager size beds is for easier and quicker cleaning after defoliation, its annoying when leaves or something go below buckets and benches. I am 190cm tall so it hurt my back😅 and grow spaces are always tight. Also this way is easier for me having one spot for input and one on bottom for return for 9 plants. 18 individual buckets give more flexibility 100%, but i like to make stuff easy to work for me, that way i enjoy more and focus on gardening.

, ahh thats cool. It is funny we have thought of all the same things. I'm thinking about going to a large single chamber for the same reason. Single buckets are more work and I have the same problem cleaning after defoliation. My space is tight and i feel like an acrobat when i go to trim lol. Another benefit of the single large bed is better redundancy since all of your nozzles and solenoids are in one chamber. I run 2 solenoids and 3 nozzles in each bucket right now. Consolidating to one big bed, 2 solenoid 6-8 nozzles would be more reliable i think. One thing I have noticed is different between our methods is propagation medium, your mist timings are longer perhaps because the rockwool retains some moisture. I have nothing in mine, just the neoprene collar with roots below it. I read somewhere that shorter timings cycles are better, but I have no evidence to prove it. Just an observation, your results are great! I read your full journal finally. I saw you have some concern about the roots growing into each other at some point. I wouldn't think it would be a problem. I've seen people run HPA in chambers so small that half of their root system dies off by the end of flower (can't get mist), they still have good results. In my experience this is an advantage of HPA, a perfect mist can rejuvenate unhealthy roots VERY fast. If you are worried about leaving some dead root mass in the chamber, you can use a product like "Hygrozyme". Converts dead root mass to sugars that the plant can use. Anyways, they look very healthy now, looking forward to your next update 😎

, ahh I see, well any good cheap powder nutrient with the right ratio should work. In the past I have used a thicker nutrient until i switched to HPA as well. The single most important thing to avoid clogs is to never allow your lines to dry. If you have nutrient water in your lines, the water evaporates eventually and your are left with salts blocking your nozzles. I have found that the chamber size is largely irrelevant. I think a good depth makes it easier. ~15"+. The roots build up a vast network and then are weighed down by themselves. The extra depth allows you to have room above that root mass to establish a good mist. wow, musician, equipment specialist and a horticulture master. You got it goin on brother!

, Thanks for compliments for my garden man🙌 Unfortunately in my country GH is unviable, so for that reason i was using AN for decade in other hydro systems. All their bottled product need good filtration to not clog nozzles. Organic Kelp make most off the gunk on filters. Wanted to try powder water soluble nutrients. Seeing some great review for Athena, so order from abroad for 20e per 1kg bag, not so expensive considering my usage. They PRO line is clean as pure water, like that 😇 I am new to HPA, third run, second year. Still experimenting with misting timings. Lot off thinks change when i swich from 25l buckets with two nozzles to 1x1m beads. I will follow your work m8, and we can share are toughs on this. I am Academy Artist and musician btw😂 Working with electronic equipment/instruments and fixing them for decades help me to DIY stuff😎

, Hey Edge, I appreciate you coming by and the compliments. I checked out your journal real quick since you mentioned HPA. We are a rare breed for sure. Your setup is A1! its funny my system has many similarities and yet neither of us probably had instructions. I have planks under my plant chambers so that I can gravity drain them, looks very similar. You are definitely a person of science and probably a tradesman if I had to guess lol. Love it, hope we can share some insights, lessons learned and such from HPA. I have always run General Hydro nutrients since I started 900 years ago. They never let me down and they are dirt cheap. I'm running GH maxibloom right now, that's it. Flower and veg. The formula is good for both, I do use their cal mag product sometimes to (its called something stupid i forget). I see your nutrient loadout is more on the expensive side, I highly recommend just running the maxi unless you got a sponsorship. It would not surprise me at all if GH and AN are trying to sponsor you 😎. I'm following your latest journey, excellent explosive results so far. "HPA, as soon as you start veg its time to flower" 😀
