Ok, I was very patient with these buds and waited for about a 2-3 week cure. I dried them for a little over 6 days in paper grocery bags and then placed them in quart sized mason jars to cure. When needed I kept the lids off for a few hours at a time until the humidity stabilized under 65%. With the jars open, the best way to describe the smell is fruity, hazey, and a little bit of pine notes. I think I chopped this plant at her absolute peak.
I’ve sampled the flowers a couple times now, and they have a nice earthy taste and are covered in trichomes. The high is very cerebral and uplifting and starts hitting hard a few puffs into a session. It’s a little couch locky on the tail end if you don’t partake of some more, but for me this is typical of a lot of sativa leaning strains.
I expect the smell and flavor to improve over the next couple weeks of curing and I will continue to enjoy these flowers.
