After a 2 week cure, I finally sampled these flowers over the weekend. They still need a little time in the jar but there are some pine and chemmy terps starting to come through and from a distance with the jar open there’s a nice skunky aroma. The high is pretty nice, and it comes on strong initially in the head and eventually mellows out into a nice hybrid high that is pretty relaxing. You could get away with it in the daytime but nighttime enjoyment is probably best.

Ok, I was very patient with these buds and waited for about a 2-3 week cure. I dried them for a little over 6 days in paper grocery bags and then placed them in quart sized mason jars to cure. When needed I kept the lids off for a few hours at a time until the humidity stabilized under 65%. With the jars open, the best way to describe the smell is fruity, hazey, and a little bit of pine notes. I think I chopped this plant at her absolute peak. I’ve sampled the flowers a couple times now, and they have a nice earthy taste and are covered in trichomes. The high is very cerebral and uplifting and starts hitting hard a few puffs into a session. It’s a little couch locky on the tail end if you don’t partake of some more, but for me this is typical of a lot of sativa leaning strains. I expect the smell and flavor to improve over the next couple weeks of curing and I will continue to enjoy these flowers.

After a good 2-3 week cure, these buds are smelling and smoking super well. There’s a good skunky/musty smell that you can even pick up before you open the jar. That smell will fill the room when the jar is open. Putting your nose to the jar, you get more notes of earthiness, lemon, and maybe a little pine. When you break open a bud it’s got a really good lemony, piney scent. Tastes about how it smells and it’s super sticky. The high is fantastic. It’s got a nice cerebral effect but also a really nice body effect. This would be a good medical strain for sure. It’s not too narcotic which is a plus in my book, but it’s not something you’d want to use during the day. This is night time chillin weed. You will sleep very well coming down from this one and it just makes you feel good all over. Highly recommended, but I wish the plant I got yielded better. I only pulled about 18 grams off of a plant in a 3 gallon container. I’m hoping there’s some better yielding phenos in the 5 seeds I have left because I really like this strain. It’s a perfect compliment with the HSO 707 Headband I grew in this same run.
