@BEACHBUDZ757, I don’t regret getting the 300L. It’s a great light for the first three to four weeks of life.

@BEACHBUDZ757, thanks for the kind words and checking out my grow man. Yeah I always start my seedlings off under the B spec light for the first three or four weeks then I switch to the HLG 350R in my 2x4 tent for more veg time. I’ll start flowering in my 2x4 and then after two to three weeks I transition them into my 4x4 under the scorpion diablo to finish them off. Honestly I’ve seen Dr Bruce Bugbee talk about lighting and he says there’s not much evidence that blue light does or doesn’t do anything extra. I mean light is light and as long as the plant is getting the proper PAR and DLI for the stage of lifecycle that plants will grow. I do find that the blue light does keep them a bit shorter and bushier with tighter internodal spacing. I wouldn’t say it’s necessary to have B spec, but I use it anyway.

@Papa_T, yeah that’s what I was going for is tight node spacing I like my plants short and bushier. I have a diy 600 watt led that has an app that allows me to turn off red IR and Uv during veg it just uses 3000 and 6500k lm301bs and in the 4x4 it works great for short bushes but for the 2x4 I was thinking about getting 300 bspec. I know it really isn’t gonna have a huge impact but thought it might be fun to check out any differences. Thanks for the input!

@Ju_Bps, it took her a while to get right. She was at 6.5 feed and 4.4 runoff so I Flushed her twice with 7.0 ph and now she’s 5.8-6 range good to go!
BEACHBUDZ757
@BEACHBUDZ757, 5.8 it's in the range :+1:
BEACHBUDZ757
@Ju_Bps, Thanks :pray: they aren’t quite as fat as I would’ve liked but it’s okay cuz the quality is still great. I ran into a problem with soil ph being acidic during her weight gaining phase. Got her to 5.8 now
