@bmvape,Patience is overrated:smirk:
I dipped a little early, I couldn't wait:no_mouth:
I did put a bit aside for an early taster, so I wouldn't have to wait:+1:
Later, Grow Big!!
@bmvape,It's exciting alright, they are starting to change colour fairly quick
Patience is holding up:no_mouth: just watching those buds get bigger and BIGGER:muscle:crazy!!
can't wait to enjoy:stuck_out_tongue:
Grow Big
@northernMike, it’s an exciting time getting close to the finish line. The first grow was the hardest to be patient with, but it’s a lot more fun to grow while you can enjoy your own stash!
@northernMike, I’ve done the 24 hours of darkness on my first grow, and some say to just harvest prior to it’s normal light cycle. I don’t think it’s critical. I think not drying too fast and to do at least a 14 day cure is way more important for strength, flavor and smoothness.
@bmvape,Thanks for the reply
The fan leaves are starting to change colour from the middle outwards.
The little leaves right on the buds are starting to really turn yellow and I am seeing cloudy trichomes with the odd amber ones here and there.
they sure are sticky(unreal:heart_eyes:)
I'm thinking straight water till thurs. then let dry out until sat. and harvest sun.
I've heard you are supposed to leave the plant in total darkness for a day or so before harvest.
not sure why(how does this help)?
thanks again and Grow Big!!
@northernMike, to me it looks like you're right on schedule. I've only gone b the hair color and what I can see of the trics with max zoom on an iphone. Once you have about 70% amber hairs you should have max potency. I'm currently at day 84 and plan to harvest on day 90. She's enjoying her last feeding and I will flush over the weekend. Seems like its hard to go wrong harvesting autos at the 3 month mark. Its hard to tell with your lighting but are any of your fan leaves starting to yellow out? I think that a good sign too.
@@ATOWN, I’ve never done soil so I don’t have first hand experience. But the argument is that the plants can grow bigger/faster in hydro since they don’t have to work as hard to get their food. It’s very simple but the only thing to fear is a power outage.
@@ATOWN, thanks! It’s a small operation but it’s been perfect for my needs. Close to 2oz of fresh bud every 3 months with minimal effort and no one even has a clue!
