Hey there…I hope you don’t mind me chiming in and offering some assistance. I’m no expert growing indoors but have grown plenty outside. So I’m learning myself. The one thing that jumped out at me was the plants looked bone dry in every pic…or almost every pic. Seedlings need very little water and they often get overwatered, but once those plants are somewhat established, say 2-3 weeks, you wanna soak your pot completely edge to edge and top to bottom. Then if you have a good draining medium you should wait until they are totally dried out to water again. Small plants in veg may take 4-5 days but once they start flowering and stretching they can drink a lot. Feel the weight of your pot and once it’s light you can water/feed. A decent rule is about 1/3 (or just a bit less) of your pot size….so a 3 gal pot would take 1 gal per watering……5 gal would take roughly 1.5 gal. If your soil is amended, you shouldn’t have to feed it anything for at least 3 weeks. Then tread lightly but without good watering habits the plants won’t do well. Good job getting some good looking smoke from your maiden voyage. Now let’s increase those plant sizes and yield by 10x at least.

Can I ask about your choice of pruning ? I’m kinda interested in it. Pretty simple concept of just taking all the side branching and leaving one apical (I think that’s the word) bud line. I think it would work well within a sea of green approach. I have a small space 2’x4’ with 8’ ceilings. I could easily run 2 deep and 5 wide in 2 gal pots. I’m curious if you’ve done this before and what kind of yield u get. I’d appreciate any advice and input from you since you’re doing it right now and may have grown this way in the past. @Inganjawetrust, after seeing your plant it makes me think I’ll have several more weeks before my similar one is ready….and also gives me hope that the buds will swell up even more.

You’ve got a special grow going with that girl. I can’t tell u how impressed I am that you’ve waited to harvest. I bet 90% of all growers would have chopped it after week 11. It’s foxtailing big time and in a good way. I have one in week 12 that’s doing the same thing. Huge calyces keep spitting out thick white pistils….I wonder if it will ever stop and ripen up. I wish every plant I grew was just like this….hard as a rock, all knuckled up, and crazy trichome production. I look at quite a few diaries and yours is the first I’ve seen where the plant is doing exactly what mine is. I’m growing 3 of that strain and the other two aren’t sharing that trait. I bet it’ll be some of the best you’ll ever puff. Well done for being patient and knowing what full grown looks like. I can’t get over how early some of these diaries are being harvested…..such a shame.
