@JohnnyBarrel, THANKS found a bunch of articles on it and the original article from high times. really interesting and gonna give it a "shock" :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye: 48 hours dark with some cold temp water is what i found to be the median method or what i gather is a decent hack at it. @Chrspy, Hey, about the 48h / 60h period in a dark room before harvesting: it’s a theory advocated by lot of growers. If you search a little bit on the web you will find long discussions and debates about that, but nothing really proved. The idea of this operation call “shock ripening” is to stress the plant with this long time of obscurity to increase resin production. It’s not risky like other strange process. Personally it’s more a ritual before the final cut….:grin:

@larryargus, the first time scared me big, was about 3-4 weeks into Veg, but couple big fans on top and the next day she blew up, i expected some recovery but was fine. BD is a tough hearty plant. This far in, i think as long as its getting good light you should be good, i had a small grow tent so seemed needed. Was hoping to get some supplemental lights for next run to avoid having to do as much, i did go a little heavy cause it kept being followed by growth but part of me wish i hadn't done the last couple trims, but i doubt i lost more than a 10 or so grams of growth.

@Chrspy, iop dressed two or three weeks ago with Gaia green and a little down to earth. But yeah I use molasses everywhere watering. I water about twice a week, sometimes 3. This was the last week, now it's straight ph'd r/o water til harvest.
