I reuse my coir. I soak it in water after a grow and then rinse it 2 or three times. I then let it dry out again before reusing. As of yet I have not had a ph issue and I think that the left over tiny root hairs from previous grows are beneficial to the new plant.

Good article. It was repetitive and redundant and kept saying the same things again and again and again…. I want to try to grow with the cheap leds I have. Overhead light is a “grow light” (purple/red) and I have two “white” led ceiling lights that I want to use as side lights. Can I put purple/red on top and white on the sides or will it freak out junior?
