1) no rot, or root rot. Subsided after just a few days of Hydrogaurd. 2) mine was properly dried. Not wet for final weight. 3) I agree with your last point to some extent. However 4 plants means 4 times the nutes. I’ll admit my 1 plant grew bigger and faster than any one of your 4, and I only had a 2x2.5 tent btw. And I’ll admit I made a rookie mistake harvesting too early. You had a good yield for a 4x4 but could’ve achieved the same with 2 plants with a “Traditional” ScrOG.

Stem support with strings is not ScrOG. You’re a good grower but just need to use terms correctly. And Trump just advocated against Sessions rescinding of the memo, so bitch, look out. And you can comment all you want how my previous first grow and next grow both beat your yields. Why/how are you even stepping? Don’t make sense.

, less than a pound per plant. You easily impress yourself. You could’ve accomplished similar results if you properly spaced apart half those plants and had a proper number of plants in a 4x4 tent in a proper ScrOG. 18 weeks? Geez. Plus I still don’t see what those strings are doing to help you. I’m thinking about picking up the hobby again just to school your stoned ass. Smoke up bro! You need all the mental help you can get.

, Well done, sir! That will take me some time to read through, and I appreciate your first informative rebuttal. And you can bet your little nuggets I’ll Troll on. Best Wishes with the technique. -DuctirKanabys

At least you finally admit it just simple netting and not ScrOG. The term has a definition. I’ll explain it to you and there’s hope for you because you don’t need any experience growing to understand it. It stands for Screen or Green. That means a horizontal (left/right) growth vs vertical (up/down) growth. You have cola weight support at best. C’mon bro stop trying to claim your grow is something it is clearly not. And I doubt they are that heavy unless your stems are as weak as your responses.

They look skinny. You put them on a diet? I still don’t see what those huge squares are doing, other than maybe help them stand up straight and grow taller, which is the opposite of ScrOG.

, at least you admit it’s useless netting, not ScrOG! BTW, for a first time grower, it’s good to follow a recipe because you are right, I had no idea what I was doing, but did as much research as I could. And I stopped because I work in a federally regulated industry where the Feds can walk into my home at any time to inspect papers, which does happen, and when Sessions pulled the Obama memo protecting States rights, I had to give it up. It was a fun hobby, with great rewards! My friends reaped the majority of rewards! You are also better at talking shit than growing ScrOG.

Lol. So “flexible netting” is your definition of ScrOG? 😃😅Oh man! That’s about as good as it gets. Tell me me more about this Flexible Netting that I can’t stop laughing about?!?!?!?😘😘😗😗😂😂😂😂😂

, ScrOG stand for “Screen” of green. You’ve got some squares that look like they are made out of strings and are pointless. BTW, if you want to compare your 4 plants vs my one, divide your yield in a quarter. Plus you took an extra month. Meh.

, final question: what did you intend for those strings to do, and what are they actually doing now? Hint: it’s not anythung close to ScOG but I’m still curious why they are there. Thanks for the “education”

, I think we could have a good discussion in person, but that will never happen. So, I concede to the online debate and will bow down for now. You should get top 10. I’ll vote for you. I’ll be offline, until your next grow....

I also performed LST on my Single and only plant that covered a larger square footage area than your 4 vertical String plants currently do. But I did LST Every Day during flowering. A little effort goes a long way brotha.

Can you see how your strings did not accomplish the intended "Screen" of Green technique and allowed the plant to grow vertically as normal? Your second picture in week 13 is a perfect example of a failed ScrOG technique. I appreciate you "liking" my previous comments, because they were in your potential benefit. I don't think those strings did anything much and I still would not call this ScrOG. If you want to continue with the string technique, maybe add in 4-5 layers because those squares are Huge! They aren't holding anything down or spreading anything out. You can cut those strings now if you want and it won't change your yield. At least the plant is closer to the light now and actually able to grow when flowering. I hope you enjoy your product, and I'm glad you waited longer than I did before harvest! Happy Growing, sir!

, Right on brotha! I originally considered trellis netting in 2 layers, but the polycarbonate screen was a better fit for that particular hydro setup. Netting is expensive and I like what you are doing with the strings. I doubt you’re a Newbie, but thanks for recognizing that I am one. I think you will have an excellent yield, but when the plant begins to Stretch, which it should be doing about now, I don’t know how well those strings will hold it down, unless they are super tight. As previously mentioned, I’m not growing anymore, for at least a few years. But I do wish you the best and will be watching your progress. Cheers!

, Where was the negativity in my comment? I still don’t see it. Looks like the grower received the advice, at the time I made it, and compensated appropriately. Looks solid NOW. Your FEELINGS are irrelevant. Good job Bounty. I’m taking notes.

, thanks for the Karma. Root rot never took hold after adding Hydrogaurd. Did 1 week flush. Drained the system many times until ppms down to 300 or so. Agree reservoir too small for such a Large plant. Lights were as close as possible without burning which one center bud started to do. Dried for 1 week until stems snapped. Definitely wasn’t wet and agree very green. As mentioned, I would wait longer next time for a more mature plant. Thanks for the Constructive Critizism.

Looks like shit, root rot, res too small for that plant, gl with ph swings and water temp issues, that's why you got root rot, Build a better system or get a bigger reservoir, maybe flush your bud next time, way too green to go into my pipe, gonna be a harsh smoke, crackly throat burning black ash bud right there, need 2 week minimum flush even in hydro, buds look airy and premature, maybe drop your light lower, or get a better one, Jarred wet weed with bovedas, thats a big no no, 79% in the jar with a 62% boveda, take that stuff out and dry it more, gonna mold in that jar, or PM, you choose, also gonna turn to a musty dank basement smell jarring that soon, if you jarred early that means you weighed wet, cut that weight in half IMO cause your yeild isn't what you say, its still wet, Good Luck, you're gonna need it.....alot of it

,Yeah, if you're growing two strains at different points in the lifecycle that's a tough call. 280w isn't overwhelming so I think it would be OK to start dropping sooner rather than later. I think I'll be learning from you on this one, but how you are forming your plant in the ScrOG setup looks ideal to me.

, lol ScrOG police. Thanks for the compliment. I don't see any "technique" here at all. If you want to do the string thing, I think you'd need to have much smaller squares. The point of ScrOG is to prevent vertical growth and promote horizontal growth. You string technique does neither. Good laughs tonight tho. Thx
