There are such machines, but they’re at least a few hundred $$, and I imagine they require a little learning curve and some expertise. So, for convenience’s sake, I bring buds to my local grow shop for testing. I’m in a recently legal state, so the grow shop offers it as a service. They’ll test flower or concentrate, and ask for about a gram of flower or 1/2 gram of concentrate to run the test. It runs 50 usd per test, and every 5th test is free, so it works out to 40 usd per test assuming you reach 5 tests. Edit: fixed usd price symbol wasn’t showing up
