@Frosted_Cutz
, thanks bro. Haven't tried fridge but once your weed is sticky after being hung. Wrap it in a paper bag and put it in the freezer. You might lose some smell to nugs but it will preserve the thc and mature it

Congrats! Thats some fire bud. Seems you are finding the 20-24c region perfect for final weeks of flowering autos, whereas photos go much colder! Im currently looking into cold drying in a fridge via Dr Ziggy's Lotus Cure. Have you tried this? Great work!

, thank you very much for entertaining my questions whilst you must have 1000+ notifications. will keep watching your current grows carefully and applying the knowledge to my own flowers. Stay safe!

, that's it bro. Keep the temps within that difference, through each stage of growing. I hang the whole plant not branches. I've never had a problem with mould as I make sure the rooms well ventilated. My best cure was at 13-15c and 60-70% humidity. Took about 14days but smell stayed there the whole time

, THANK YOU! Right, max 5c difference on a single day and between 16-27c all grow. Makes sense re genetics. Will follow ur full advice, including drying and 99% i understand :) Couple questions please kind sir: 1) You said "hang them side by side", but are you hanging the whole plant or branches? 2) Wow, drying at 13-15c is way lower than what i have read elsewhere but terp wise makes sense. No mould concerns at these temps with 60-70% RH? Online typically recommends 21c and 50% RH?

, hahaha the hay smell. Everyone's worst nightmare. There are so many ways of getting this but also avoiding it. #1 Genetics. If your going to buy cheap seeds, don't expect good Genetics. GD is the best for reviewing what other people have grown. I will search other people's grows and can tell from their pics what's good and what's not. Clones are the best as you will get the same pheno from the same mother but that's if you can get them. #2 temp and humidity spikes. Like I said to you yesterday, no more of a difference of 5degrees your whole grow. Stops fox tailing etc #3 hanging. Once you've stopped feeding and soil/coco is dry. 2 days of complete darkness in the pot. You can start taking off every leaf apart from the sugar leaves. I tend to start stripping leaves off last week of flower to save me doing it then but it doesn't matter. Hang side by side but not touching well off the floor. Head to waist height. Small fan at the bottom of your tent to create a slight breeze but not directly over plants. Leave outlet fan on lowest speed. You need a speed controller as one setting outlets suck to much air out. Will dry bud to quickly. Temps must be between 13c - 15c. No lower no higher. Humidity 60 -70 % again no lower no higher. The longer the hang time the better. Aim for 14days. Always feel the buds. You aiming to cut when it's still sticky but not wet. Give it a wee trim and put into a paper bag. Open up once a night for 20mins and repeat until your happy you can put into jars or groove bags. I don't do jars I prefere groove bags. Now from this time I would roll it tight and tuck it away for a month in a cold place. The terps on your bud will develop and become the strongest. Now its time to roll a blunt and get fuck faced

, Thanks mate! You dont know how useful this is! I really appreciate it. Making tons of progress and I am very happy overall. Got seedlings and veg mostly figured out, im just learning now nute dosages once the soil is used up. Looking to get my best results yet from my current 2nd grow, starting flower in 1 week max. I have many questions but dont want to occupy too much of your time ha. I would love to hear your theory on drying and curing? Have you documented this anywhere? Ive mostly been focused on the grow period so far but did read about using a wine cooler for curing. Personally most interested in ensuring i dont finish with a bunch of flowers that has that plant/homegrown/hay sort of smell. So far that sounds like a temp and RH thing, gotcha. P.S. Im based on the equator so ofc have aircon an dehumidifier, BUT in my 4m2 indoor room (1.5m2 open tent) without a dehumidifier the RH would be 70-80% in the day if lucky and 90-95% at lights off in an indoor room lol. As you can imagine temps and RH are super delicate here.

, get yourself a cheap humidifier from argos. Look at mine in pics. I leave that on during veg and it gets my humidity upto %70 which is perfect. Once in flower I turn my dehumidifier on and have it at %40 then lower it as much as you can, ideally %30

, temp are key bro. Cooler temps during seedling and veg will lead to small undeveloped plants. Seedlings to young veg 25c - 27c . Bring it down to 25c when their adult veg and 1st 2weeks of flower. Then bring it down -1c per week. The last 2weeks you ideally need it 19c day and 16c at night. During your whole grow you shouldn't exceed a 5 degree difference betweem night and day. If you go past that, your bud will start to degrade. Keep it in range and at them temps and you will have A grade bud as long as you have a decent light and ventilation. Curing is a whole different science which I'm still experimenting with but happy to share my theory 🌱✌️🏼

, Right! That’s what I noticed in your diaries. Nuke the RH, then the temps. BUT wondering if could just have cooler temps much earlier than that and achieve the same effect? Or is it the jump from high to low in temp that causes the rapid THC production I’ve seen in ur pics? Or is dropping the temp just after stretch about saving aircon/elec? and it could have been done way earlier? Makes sense re the light - experiment and find what works. I’m using Biobizz atm.

, you have a choice bro. I like my girls to spread open and to have nodes not so close together. So i will have the light higher, 2half feet away but light intensity turned up. I'm still experimenting but feel Plants get less damage and stress this way. When ever I put my lights close they go yellow and that's light bleaching. First 2-3 weeks (seedlings) %30 power 3 - 3 1/2 feet away. %50 for rest of veg keeping light min 3 feet away. Early flower %75, stretch onwards %100. 640watt light that's based on. Drop your temps after stretch that's the most important bit. Thc and resin through the roof. What nutrients you using bro? Sweet for stopping by

Hi mate. Read all of your diaries and am learning a ton. I have a similar Mars FC light. Was advised to always keep at 40-45cm height and start at 25% dimmer for seedlings and increase 5% per week. Can you briefly outline your lighting height and dimmer schedule please? You seem to be at higher heights and intensities. Thanks in advance!
