I'm still experimenting but feel Plants get less damage and stress this way. When ever I put my lights close they go yellow and that's light bleaching. First 2-3 weeks (seedlings) %30 power 3 - 3 1/2 feet away. %50 for rest of veg keeping light min 3 feet away. Early flower %75, stretch onwards %100. 640watt light that's based on.
